Couples
The first time I photographed a couple with any kind of serious intent, it was the elopement of two close friends that took place in my own back yard. There is something incredibly special about capturing the intimacy and nuances of a relationship, and their last minute request was the catalyst for my passion for couples portraiture. Whether you’re hoping to schedule a proposal or engagement session, elopement, or just some time to grab some sweet moments together that can hang on your walls or be shared with friends and family, I’d love to work together.
Families
My older sister has been a photographer for over a decade, and in 2019, she gave me a box of about fifty photos that she’d taken over the years. I remember looking through the photos for the first time and being dumbfounded by the memories that she’d preserved of our family, our childhood home, and our animals. Some of my all-time favorites hang throughout my home here in Minnesota, but every so often, I open up that box to relive the wonderful tiny moments that she managed to collect. During every family session, I keep the photos in that box in mind and shoot with the intention of providing each family the opportunity to fondly look back on their own collection of wonderful tiny moments together for years to come.
Individuals
I believe that individual portraits are an opportunity to celebrate yourself.
